New books in the pipeline...
Nene Valley Media director Dave Phillips has a background in newspapers and magazines that dates back more than 30 years, from the day he left school to become a trainee journalist.
Since then he has gone on to edit national publications and still finds time today to contribute to market-leading automotive magazines like Land Rover Owner International as well as researching, writing and photographing local stories and features for the popular Nene Valley Living, Rutland Living and Stamford Living local magazines.

Dave is also the author of two books: Pike (Beekay Publishing, 1990) and The River Nene From Source to Sea (Silverlink Publishing, 1997). Both are sadly out of print - the Nene book in particular is fetching outrageously high prices on eBay and Amazon. But there is some good news...
An updated and improved edition of the best-selling River Nene book is in the pipeline... and Dave is working on a new Land Rover title with off-road guru Vince Cobley. Just watch this space!
